Welcome to the world of cars
This swoopy vehicle traversed the Alps, hit 87 mph on the autobahn, and still had power remaining in its 100-kWh battery pack after a 1,000-kilometer journey.
The Vision EQXX is the most efficient Mercedes ever. On Tuesday, April 5, this experimental concept automobile travelled 626 miles—or 1,007 kilometers, just over a megameter—on a single 100-kWh battery charge from its origin in Stuttgart, Germany, up and over the 6,900-foot Gotthard Pass in Switzerland to the French Riviera.
By scrupulously following to all speed regulations, the automobile averaged 56 mph, with a top speed of 87 mph on a no-limit stretch of autobahn. They stopped for two 15-minute bio-breaks and arrived in Cassis with just 88 percent of the battery remaining and 87 miles of range (as validated by German TÜV officials).
