The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek is equipped with a lowered suspension and knobby tires

The Rock Creek variant for the Nissan Pathfinder is returning, and the latest version of the mid-size SUV wears the rugged-looking changes better than the previous model. The package includes a suspension raise, new wheels and tires, a roof rack, and a few additional design alterations inside and out for the 2023 Pathfinder.

The grille and front fascia on the Rock Creek variant are distinct, and Rock Creek insignia decorate the front doors and tailgate. Toyo Open Country All-Terrain tires are mounted on the 18-inch beadlock wheels. All-wheel drive is standard, and the suspension is elevated 0.6 inch. Nissan also claims that when using premium fuel, the 3.5-liter V-6 produces an extra 11 horsepower and 11 pound-feet of torque, resulting in new totals of 295 hp and 270 pound-feet; however, Nissan claims that this upgrade is only for the Rock Creek, and that other 2023 Pathfinder models will retain the same 284 hp as before.

There will be four two-tone exterior color schemes and six monotone exterior colors to choose from. The price of the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek has yet to be announced, but we expect it to fall between between the AWD SL and Platinum variants when it goes on sale this summer.
